The idea behind the club was inspired by the head of 24poker Royalty Relationship, who is a semi-professional online poker player.

"After playing online poker successfully for six years, it got me frustrated because I was not treated the way I think I should have been. After reaching over 100,000 rake points in Party Poker, I got 10 suede jackets for it.

They're nice, but I think a player of that caliber should be treated like one. As I am the head of the Royalty Relationship of 24poker.com, I proposed to 24poker a concept in which around 70% of the rake will be returned to the player. (And don't worry about 24poker, they're still going to make there money) I am happy to announce that 24poker agreed, and so The Club is official."

The Club will be able to officially operate once the member list reaches 100 members.
