| How
do I get the gaming software? |
|
In order to install the gaming
software on your computer, you must first go to the menu
at the top of the page, select software, and then click
download.
Follow the on-screen prompts to install the
application and register, and start playing!

do I join a table from the Lobby? |
|
When the game lobby opens, you will
see the table list of the various types of poker
games.
To see the table list for each type, select
the desired game type tab above the table list and the
relevant table list will be displayed, with the details
of each table.
To join a table simply click it!

| Why
does the game action sometimes slow down? |
|
Our game servers and software have
been intelligently designed to respond as efficiently as
possible to the large numbers of players in our poker
rooms at any given time.
If you are experiencing a
slower response at times (aka 'lag'), this is most
likely due one of two things - either your own
connection is slower than average, or one or more of the
other players' connections is slow, so their actons seem
to be taking a longer time. |
| What
happens if I get disconnected during a game? |
It is important to understand how the software deals
with disconnects in the middle of a hand that you are
involved in.
Your hand is protected as per an "All
In" situation unless you do something to fold your
hand.
What is "All in
protection"?
This is the protection provided
to you when you are disconnected from the Multi-Player
Casino.
When you return to the game, you contend for
the pot in an amount proportional to the amount you have
contributed.
The folding of a hand will occur as a
result of one of the following:
1. Leaving the card room
in the middle of a hand.
2. Exiting the game using
the close box (i.e. clicking the X in top right hand
corner of the screen).
3.
Clicking the fold button, accidentally OR
intentionally.
4.
Disconnecting from the game and
re-entering the table before that hand has completed.
5. Failing to act on your
hand within 20 seconds, e.g. you "Time
Out".
All-In protection for
disconnection is limited to prevent abuse. each player
is limited to two all in protections a day when playing
with real money.
There is no all-In protection in
Pot-Limit and No-Limit games.
Please note that to
prevent this feature from being abused, there is a limit
of "All Ins" over a 24-hour period that is set by the
administrators. The "All In" counter is reset each day
at 12:00 am GMT. |
| Can
I sit down at an empty table? |
|
Sure you can. It seems to be that
once somebody sits at an empty table, others soon
follow. You probably won't have to wait much before you
start playing. |
| How
do i claim a bonus with my promotion code? |
|
To claim a Promotion Code Bonus,
make a deposit of any amount into your 24Poker
account.
Then, in the main lobby click on "Menu
> Promotion> use a coupon" and fill in your
details.
Or, contact us by E-mail and give us
your Promotion Code. |

do i join a tournament? |
In the client application, click on
the MTT (Multi Table Tournament) label on the far right
of the first game type row. A list of all the
tournaments will open. You can narrow the list down by
clicking on a tournament type label (in the second
row). Then click on the desired tournament. A
window will open showing information about the tounament
(prize amount, starting time, entry requirements
etc). To register for the tournament click on the
"JOIN/LEAVE" button. To cancel your registration click
on the "JOIN/LEAVE" button again. Be sure you're
on-line and have the application open at least 5 minutes
before the tounament starts. For MTT terms and

is Play Money?, and how do I get more of it? |
|
The main purpose of "Play Money" is
to practice!
Each day you'll get 2000 play tokens to
prectice and improve your poker skills.
If you spend
all the 2000 "Play Money" points, or part of it, after
24 hours you will get the portion you lost, back to 2000
points.
However, any play money "profit" will be
saved to your account. . |
| Why
am I asked to provide authorization documents (CAD)?

- Even though playing with real
money in 24poker is safer than paying a restaurant bill
with your credit card, there is still a small chance of
collusion as certain people try to misuse other people's
accounts.
Whenever our systems detect even the
slightest discrepancy in a client's details, we do not
allow any transactions until we've received the
CAD.
We realize that this process can be bothersome,
but it is done only to protect our clients from possible
harmful elements to the E-gaming
community. |
| How
do i withdraw bonus money? |
Once you've claimed your bonus
money, you may keep playing with using the bonus, or you
may withdraw it. You must earn 20 Raked Hands for
each bonus dollar before you can withdraw your
bonus. keep in mind that bonus money will always
be withdrawn first; if you make a withdrawal before the
bonus has "cleared", the bonus money will return to
